so here we are back in the states... i just got photos up for these stories but there are sooo many more and good ones too. by next week i will have our shutterfly site updated too.

I'm curious what inspired a trip such as this. Was this somthing you had to do to get into the UPEACE school, or was it just for the adventure of it?
I took a journey around the world last year with a missions organization. I have been to many of the places you mentioned here. I saw a very different side to places like Mexico, Nicaragua, and Costa Rico. There is so much poverty there beyond what I as an American could have imagined had I not seen it with my own eyes.
It is hard to believe that the places that look like paradise have so much devistation. But the people are beautiful in the midst of their circumstances. They have a hope and a deeper joy that is more beautiful than the beaches, mountains, forests... around them.
Thanks for sharing your journey. Congratulations for your acceptance into the masters program. I hope you will put the education to good use.
