los animales

here is a list of animals have seen in the last few months--

dolphin and baby eels
manatees puffer fish
sea horses parrot fish
horn fish osprey
friggit birds tapir
wild parrots toucan
sting rays eagle rays
flying fish howler monkeys
tarantulas and other creepy spideys
crocodiles lobster
egrets cranes
barracudas irridescent butterflies
fireflies venus fly trap like plant
bats sharks

and two of my favorites, one was this weird little guy that looked like a mix between a cat and a racoon! and another was a little lizard with a dinosaur head that actually ran STANDING UP on his back two legs! hilarious!!!

the guide told us that manatees are most closely related to the elephant which is definitely a cool mental image. red and i also decided that they are a lot like the beloved sloth as well in the way that they are so mellow and dont bother anyone or anything and they are just big fat sea cows munchin on sea grass! love em!
